Case Erector / Bottom Taper
Hot melt or pressure sensitive tape, the 300E 2- side
positive case erector delivers consistent productivity. At all
intervals in the case erection process the corrugate case is
controlled. 2-side positive erection-securing both the major and
minor panel, the 300E consistently forms the case to 90 degree
square position. Rugged top and bottom mechanical drive shuttles
continue to guarantee case squareness through the formation
process. Heavy duty construction, 2-1/2” square tube (.188 wall)
with a completely welded frame and only top quality electronic
components ensures you of long-term return on your investment.
The 300E 2-side Positive Case Erector delivers consistent
results even when corrugate case quality varies. Every element
of system design promotes the positive handling of the corrugate
case in the erection bottom sealing process - from magazine
escape, 2-side erection, to top and bottom mechanical shuttle
through the formation process.
Sequence of Operation:
A single flat blank is positively shuttled from the magazine
storage and placed in takeaway position. A mechanical shuttle
transfers the blank to the erection position. The case blank is
secured on 2 sides (minor and major panels) by vacuum arms. The
minor panel is moved to a 90 degree vertical position, erecting
the case (case top opening is horizontal). Case bottom minor
flaps are actively moved to closed position. Full flap length
panels actuate to finish closing the case base major flaps.
Erected case is advanced across tape head.
